The CIB (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction) was established in the 1950s for the purpose of serving as a forum for sharing research findings on a variety of construction-related topics. CIB W99, Working Commission on Safety and Health on Construction Sites, was founded in 1995. The 2009 Conference is hosted in conjunction with RMIT. For further information on CIB: www.cibworld.nl
